SUMMARY:Danko Jones (Split Dogs), Ljubljana (CUK Kino Šiška), Slovenia
DESCRIPTION:Danko Jones (support: Split Dogs)\nLjubljana / CUK Kino Šiška / Slovenia\nThursday, 22. 10. 2026, at 8:00 PM\nConcert @ Katedrala\nFacebook event! ( https://www.facebook.com/events/1432530255241623 )\nTickets are already on sale online and through the Eventim sales network: https://www.eventim.si/…/danko-jones-ljubljana-kino…/– Presale: 25 EUR– Day of show: 30 EUR– Discounted (kids/students/seniors): 18.75 EUR\nNot just one of Canada’s best bands, but one of the best live rock acts on the planet right now – Danko Jones are crashing into Ljubljana this October! The Toronto power trio, known for turbo riffs, hefty hooks and unforgettable stage presence, has spent almost three decades proving that loud, fast and catchy never goes out of style.\nFOR FANS OF: Motörhead, Volbeat, Foo Fighters …\nThe band was founded in the mid-nineties by charismatic vocalist and guitarist Danko Jones, and built its reputation the good old-fashioned way: relentless touring, honest songwriting and total dedication to the live show. The band’s sound is a ferocious collision of hard rock and punk attitude, driven by crunchy riffs, hard-hitting drums and choruses tailor-made for group chanting. The influences of AC/DC, Thin Lizzy and Motörhead echo through their music, but Danko Jones run them through a modern, sharpened approach loaded with infectious melodies, one that doesn’t waste time and doesn’t hold back. The songs, often delivered with a cheeky wink and a dash of humor, sing the praises of loud music and long nights, and that mix of swagger and self-reflection has won the band a loyal global following.\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2UBO1ahKlg\nDanko Jones have released a dozen albums so far, and their latest, last year’s Leo Rising, once again drew great reviews. With a polished sound, it delivers a pure rock’n’roll punch again – heavy riffs, grooves that are impossible to resist, and sky-high energy levels. The album balances raw power with experience gathered over the years, proving that even after several decades the band hasn’t lost its knack for fresh rock anthems.\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndigVPHyysI\nDanko Jones are still a mighty force on stage, too. Their shows run on relentless drive that has carried the band from jam-packed clubs to the biggest festival stages. At their first-ever Ljubljana show, we can expect a set of hits from across their whole career as well as new tracks from Leo Rising, but above all a pure-blooded, 100%, turn-it-up-to-11 rock show.\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKsZZY-m4yI\nAfter a great performance at the sold-out Gogol Bordello show, warm-up duties once again fall to British rock’n’roll beasts Split Dogs. From the very start, the band’s sound has been built on a sharp mix of punch, stage wildness, honed riffs and catchy lyrics, and with a heap of sold-out shows across the UK and support slots for acts like GBH, Battlesnake and Pigs x7, they’ve racked up a serious amount of live mileage.\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cm7nnTBmbrU\n\n\n
