Lynx made people sit up and take notice back in 2022, when their debut studio album “Watcher of Skies” came out on No Remorse Records. Critics described their style as a neat blend of Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple and Blue Öyster Cult influences. Also in 2022, vocalist and keyboardist Amy Zine joined the band. In 2025, original guitarist and vocalist Marvin Kiefer left, and Janni (Ioannis Athanasiadis), who previously played in Eyemaster and Speedbreaker, stepped in on guitar and vocals. In November of that same year, the band headed into Fat & Holy studio to record their second album.
