Noctiferia

Slovenian extreme metal pioneers Noctiferia are getting closer to the release of their album "Aksiom I" with the single 'Paradox Redux'. Driven by tireless energy, crushing rhythms and uncompromising sonic intensity, 'Paradox Redux'…

"So, to draw the line under it all: the first open air edition of Metaljot raspaljot will go down as a very warm memory. The festival's organization was top-notch and there were really no major shortcomings to speak of. The lineup was…

Last Friday, Laško, otherwise known mostly for Pivo in cvetje, hosted a much, much smaller but far more heartfelt festival tailor-made for heavy metal fans, and with its very first "open air" edition Metaljot raspaljot has already earned…

If Pomaranča marks the beginning of heavy metal on Slovenian soil, then Noctiferia undoubtedly marks the beginning of extreme metal in Slovenia.

Mid-April doesn't just bring the usual shitty weather and arteries clogged with Easter treats, it also brings something that gets welcomed with a lot more open arms. The traditional Metal Weekend at Trainstation Subart in Kranj!

The seventh MetalWitch festival has arrived! This time at the club Cirkus, in the old Vič cinema. In Ljubljana's Vič district, of course. Five bands, five separate entities, five different musical stories.

After shows in China and slots at Metaldays and Wacken Open Air, Noctiferio brought the summer leg of the "Pax" tour to the idyllic setting of Mali grad as part of this year's Kamfest, where a colorful crowd of metalheads gathered, so a…

Noctiferia created an atmosphere so screamingly gloomy, with such a doom-laden grip, that it sucked every sinful soul that found itself in or near Transtation Squat that night into the bottomless maw of the abyss of evil. All to cleanse…

On the last Saturday of October, Styria's Fuck Off Commercial festival celebrated 25 years since its premiere edition with sets by Noctiferia, Anesthesia, Rapidforce, Cordura and Inmate.

It's not just the weather that's heating up: the tension is building ahead of this year's MetalDays too, and the warm-up gigs are fanning the flames!

One of the heaviest moments of this year's Ortofest opened Thoth's book of spells, though the cramped stage made them hit less hard than usual. Noctiferia are still the best Slovenian metal has to offer today.

"…and so the last Metal Camp festival is done. From now on we get MetalDays. Same scale, meaning one big-name headliner in the lineup and a festival of the same length. Let's hope the location stays at the confluence of the Tolminka and…

"In Flames delivered an unforgettable get-together and satisfied a jam-packed Kino Šiška, whose walls were bursting at the seams and buckling under the band's unstoppable alter-metal barrage!"
