“Retaliate” will be available in a variety of formats and you can already pre-order it.
Repentance were founded in 2018 by guitarist Shaun Glass (formerly of Soil and Dirge Within). The band quickly gained popularity thanks to their killer live shows, sharing stages with the likes of Trivium, DevilDriver, Jinjer, Sacred Reich and Toxic Holocaust, among others.
Their debut album “God For A Day” (2020) got a lot of attention from critics, which opened the door to a deal with German label Noble Demon in 2021. A year later the band put out the EP “Volume I – Reborn” (2021). On it, Repentance introduced new vocalist Adam Gilley, and Trivium guitarist Corey Beaulieu also guested on the EP.
In 2023 Repentance released their second album “The Process Of Human Demise,” which further cemented their reputation for combining the intensity of groove metal with the precision demanded by modern thrash metal. Produced by Alex Lackner and mixed and mastered by Chris Collier, the album also features guest appearances by Corey Beaulieu and Milo Silvestro (Fear Factory), earning comparisons to genre giants like Pantera and Lamb Of God.
Now, with “Retaliate,” the band take their sound even further. “Retaliate” was once again produced by Alex Lackner at Accelerated Sound, with Ari Mihalopoulos handling the mix at Inner Light.
