Beseech, Swedish gothic/doom metal pioneers, will release a new studio album, “Future. Present. Past”, on 28.8.2026 via Despotz Records.
Below you’ll find the fourth single from the album, the title track “Future. Present. Past.”, complete with an official music video!
Formed in the early ’90s in the Swedish town of Borås, Beseech have built a loyal following with their vision of dark romanticism, gloomy atmospherics and musicality.
The band’s journey began with the 1995 demo Tears, followed by the debut “…From a Bleeding Heart” (1998). They kept building their trademark sound with “Black Emotions” (2000) and its successor, a real fan favorite among those in the know, “Souls Highway” (2002). On that album Beseech made especially smart use of the vocal pairing of Erik Molarin and Lotte Höglin – a duo whose contrasting voices became a key part of Beseech’s identity. The band kept evolving with “Drama” (2004) and “Sunless Days” (2005), widening their sonic palette while holding on to the melancholic beauty that fans took to heart.
After years of touring and recording, Beseech split up in 2006, leaving behind a legacy of timeless gothic anthems. A decade later, the silence was broken by the album “My Darkness, Darkness” (2016).
“Future. Present. Past.” is available to pre-order now.
