Bruno Mičetić, a Croatian singer-songwriter, composer and guitarist, is teaming up with U.D.O. guitarist Alen Brentini to present the first single from his upcoming album, the track Ombre Sul Quarnero.
Alen Brentini wrote the song for Mičetić’s album. It also comes with an official music video made by Vedran Mohorović (studio FPV Light). Check it out below.
Alen Brentini (Music Universe Studio) handled the mix, while Luka Jenuš (Distinctive Studio) took care of the mastering.
Bruno says: “This is a new chapter in the story of the ‘Guitars’ Dialogue’ project. People have been asking me for ages when Alen and I would finally record something together. Recently the right opportunity finally came along. I’m currently working on my new Guitars’ Dialogue album, which explores the interplay of different guitar sounds, and we both agreed the ideal moment had arrived to join forces. We’ve known each other practically our whole lives. We both have a deep devotion to blues, hard rock and heavy metal, so we could easily have plugged in our electric guitars and just gone wild. But at the same time, we’re both just as devoted to playing acoustic guitar. That’s why we decided to go with an acoustic sound for this single. Alen wrote a beautiful song. Last summer I was sitting on the beach when he sent it to me. I called him right back and said: ‘This is it… this is so beautiful.’ We named the track ‘Ombre sul Quarnero’ (Shadows over the Kvarner) because it’s a story about the two of us. We travel the world playing guitars, but we always come back to the same place where we were born and grew up: the Kvarner. We hope you’ll like our story!
