Corrosion Of Conformity, the legendary American metal outfit, will drop their long-awaited new double album “Good God / Baad Man” on April 3 via Nuclear Blast Records.

It’s the band’s first record since its predecessor, “No Cross No Crown”, came out eight years ago.

You can already pre-order “Good God / Baad Man”.

Among metal fans, the first four Corrosion Of Conformity albums are now considered cult achievements: that means the underground classics “Eye For An Eye” (1984) and “Animosity” (1985), and of course “Blind” (1991) and “Deliverance” (1994). A quarter of a century later, when the band put out “No Cross No Crown”, Corrosion Of Conformity had grown into bona fide legends of their time, revered by generations of punks, metalheads and rock fans alike!

In January 2020, tragedy struck the band when Reed Mullin passed away. Not long after, Mike Dean decided to leave as well. That left just Pepper Keenan (vocals, guitar) and Woody Weatherman (guitar). They holed up in Keenan’s place in Mississippi and listened: Discharge, ZZ Top, Motörhead, Neil Young and Black Sabbath. You know. The good stuff. And new material started to take shape. Lots of new material.

To fill the gaps in the lineup for the new album, they brought in drummer Stanton Moore, who played on the Corrosion Of Conformity album “In The Arms Of God” (2005), and bassist Bobby ‘Rock’ Landgraf, who once played alongside Pepper in New Orleans heavyweights Down and also in his own outfit, Honky.

“Good God / Baad Man” was produced by Warren Riker (Fugees, Down, Cathedral). It was recorded at several studios: Blak Shak (Riffissippi), Dockside (Maurice, Louisiana) and the home studio of legendary Bee Gees man Barry Gibb in Miami (Florida). The cover art comes from Scott Guion.

Below you’ll find the second single from the album, You Or Me, complete with an official music video directed by Costin Chioreanu. The band announced the new record a while back with the single Gimme Some Moore.

“Good God / Baad Man” will be available in all the major formats, and you can already pre-order it.
