The Italian summer is getting ready to welcome one of the most iconic and influential bands in music history: Duran Duran are announcing three concert events in our country, at three of the most enchanting and prestigious locations in Italy, where you can experience truly one-of-a-kind nights as the energy and charisma of a legendary band meet breathtakingly beautiful backdrops. July 7 at the Arena di Verona, July 9 at the Reggia di Caserta, and on Saturday, July 11, at Villa Manin in Codroipo (UD). The last one – promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and part of the “GoToPordenone&Friends” program – will be the only date for fans from Austria, Slovenia and Croatia too, making it a truly special opportunity for the entire Alpine-Adriatic area.

Tickets for the concert – organized in collaboration with VignaPR, FVG Music Live and ERPAC FVG – go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 20, on Eilo.it, Ticketone.it and the international Eventim network (Eventim.si, Eventim.hr, OeTicket.com), while a special presale will be available from 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, on R101 (www.r101.it) and for D’Alessandro and Galli newsletter subscribers.

“It’s a great source of pride for our region,“ says Friuli Venezia Giulia President Massimiliano Fedriga, “to host one of the most iconic bands in the history of international music, Duran Duran, who picked Villa Manin as one of the stops on their Italian tour as part of the “GoToPordenone&Friends” festival, bringing an event of exceptionally high artistic and symbolic value to our region. This is a band that has transcended generations and borders, left an indelible mark on global pop culture and still stands as a reference point on the global scene today. An event of outstanding importance that strengthens the role of Friuli Venezia Giulia as a region capable of attracting major cultural and music productions, and so of showcasing the remarkable places of our history and architectural heritage. With this, Villa Manin gets confirmation as a top-tier venue for hosting the biggest international events, bringing together performance, culture and promotion of the area.
Duran Duran embody the idea of music that has evolved over time without losing its power and identity, speaking to a wide and diverse audience. Hosting them in Codroipo as part of a festival that helps strengthen the cultural standing of the area means offering the audience an event of international significance and, at the same time, cementing our region’s image as a cultural and tourist destination
,” Fedriga concludes.

Duran Duran, absolute protagonists of the international scene from the ’80s to today, have redefined the language of pop and rock, influenced generations of artists and won over millions of fans around the world. With more than 100 million records sold and a career spanning more than four decades, the band – made up of original members Simon Le Bon (vocals), John Taylor (bass), Nick Rhodes (keyboards) and Roger Taylor (drums) – continues to be a reference point on the global scene, embodying innovation, elegance and exceptional live power. Their repertoire has shaped entire generations. Songs like »Hungry Like the Wolf«, »Ordinary World«, »The Reflex« and »Come Undone« have become true global anthems, crossing eras and styles without losing their power.

The three concerts in Italy, produced by D’Alessandro and Galli, promise to be unforgettable events: nights where the band’s stage presence and the intensity of their performance meet the extraordinary atmosphere of symbolic landmarks of Italian cultural heritage.
