Legendary American thrash metal veterans Vio-Lence are heading to Zabok, Croatia, and the club ZCUK Regenerator on August 14, 2026. Keeping them company are Spain’s Angelus Apatrida and America’s Cutthroat.

Metal Resurrection is back again this year with a night of pure metal chaos in Zabok! This one-day mini mini festival of metal music will bring together fans of heavy sounds for three top-notch bands and an explosive atmosphere at Regenerator, considered one of the best concert venues in the region.

Fed up with the lack of alternative music in the town of Zabok, the young members of the Mraz association organized the first metal festival, called Metal Resurrection, back in 2004. What started out as a small festival soon grew into a gathering that no true metal fan in the region can afford to miss.
Over more than two decades, countless bands from every corner of the metal scene have taken the Metal Resurrection stage – everything from black metal, death metal, thrash metal and power metal to metalcore and classic metal. Now in its 26th year in a row, Metal Resurrection is one of the longest-running, uninterrupted metal festivals in northern Croatia.

Vio-lence
The legendary Bay Area thrashers from San Francisco formed in 1985. Vio-Lence are among the pioneers of technical thrash and left an indelible mark on the global metal scene with their cult album Eternal Nightmare. After reuniting in 2019, Vio-Lence are back stronger than ever!
Angelus Apatrida
This Spanish thrash metal machine, formed in 2000 in Albacete, is known for lightning-fast riffs, brutal energy and devastating live shows. Today, Angelus Apatrida are considered one of the strongest European thrash metal bands of the modern generation.
Cutthroat
The metalheads from Los Angeles will heat up the atmosphere even further and give this year’s edition of the festival a boost with their tight performance and raw energy.

All areas of the Regenerator Center for Urban Culture are adapted for people with various difficulties and disabilities. They are entitled to free entry to all of the Center’s programs that are otherwise paid. All areas are also fully pet-friendly.

Metal Resurrection i ove godine donosi večer čistog metal kaosa u Zabok! Ovaj jednodnevni mini festival metal glazbe okupit će ljubitelje žestokog zvuka uz tri vrhunska benda i eksplozivnu atmosferu u Regeneratoru, jednom od najboljih koncertnih prostora regije.
Potaknuti manjkom alternativnih glazbenih sadržaja u Gradu Zaboku, mladi članovi udruge Mraz još su 2004. godine pokrenuli festival metal glazbe pod nazivom Metal Resurrection. Ono što je krenulo kao mali festival metal izričaja vrlo brzo je preraslo u nezaobilazno mjesto okupljanja ljubitelja metala iz cijele regije.
Kroz više od dva desetljeća na pozornici Metal Resurrectiona izmjenjivali su se bendovi svih pravaca metal scene – od blacka, deatha i thrasha do powera, metalcorea i klasičnog heavy metala. Danas, već 26. godinu zaredom, Metal Resurrection nosi status najdugovječnijeg i jednog od rijetkih ustrajnih metal festivala u sjevernoj Hrvatskoj.

Angelus Apatrida
Španjolska thrash metal mašina osnovana 2000. godine u Albaceteu. Poznati po munjevitim riffovima, brutalnoj energiji i razornim live nastupima, Angelus Apatrida danas slove za jedan od najjačih europskih thrash bendova moderne generacije.
