Generator unveil the sixth track from their upcoming album Iluzije, titled Ni.
It’s an imaginary idea of existence without conditions. Strip away the conditions and the consequences vanish too: no water, no flood; no universe, no Earth. Ni invites you to reflect on time and space, on the philosophy of existence beyond the living conditions and habits we know. Backed by electronic arrangements and anchored in their signature melos, it carries us into the past and the future at the same time.
The music was written by Anina Trobec and Joseph Wheba, the lyrics by Anina Trobec, and the arrangement is credited to the whole Generator lineup.
Recording and production were handled by Miha Arnuš and Joseph Wheba, with mastering by Matej Gobec at Cosmosonic Studios, Ljubljana.
Ni is available on all digital platforms, and it comes with a visual companion too.
Anina Trobec and Joseph Wheba created the video for the track themselves, covering the script, direction, shooting, and editing, which gives the whole project an authentic, unmistakable stamp.
Generator are celebrating 10 years together this year. The new album Iluzije will drop on March 12, 2026,
and the release will be marked with a launch show at Kino Šiška.
About Generator
Generator is an electric-acoustic induction that turns motion into electric waves. Their story began on Youth Day in 2016, when they found themselves in the middle of a jam session under one roof at the autonomous cultural zone Sokolc in Novo mesto. Defying all the laws of physics, they fused into one big family. Truth be told, half of them come from the same genetic code. The lineup has nine members. Singer Anina and her English boyfriend, her mom’s husband, the husband’s friend, the friend’s son, three Turks, and one Cesar. Genre-unbound, they move through an eclectic blend of styles that reveals their eccentric mix of characters and flirts with questions of identity and unconditional love. Something for everyone and someone for all. They believe in spreading the right energy and love across borders and generations, past space and time.
