»Walk Between Worlds« is yet another album full of songs that reached their final stage of composition over a span of several years. In terms of artistic statement, it most obviously follows on from its predecessor "Big Music"

So what we have here is the album »Acoustic«, on which Simple Minds serve up a string of their best-loved radio hits and most recognizable songs in acoustic dress.

With their new album, Simple Minds prove that the evolution of their style and sound is far from over, that they're still brimming with fresh creative ideas, and that they have no time for the pathetic "riding on past glory" routine.

Picture an "updated" version of the band's classic 1987 live document from the peak of their popularity, »Live in the City of Lights«, upgraded for the new times.

"Even though almost all of us ended up soaked to the bone under the stage, Simple Minds' show in Lignano was a real treat for every nostalgic fan of big new wave hits with the occasional dose of art rock molasses."

"Graffiti Soul" is a great new studio album from Simple Minds, one that sits comfortably alongside their best studio work. It has everything a listenable, lively art rock album needs.

"I haven't seen Slovenes join in with such unity and just the right amount of immersion at a "rock" concert in a long time, an event that was all about the simple flow of positive energy from the stage to the crowd and back."

The setlist, the sound and a fully immersed, perfectionist performance had to satisfy absolutely everyone in the hall. Simple Minds remain what they are: a band of short, simple ideas and moves that work with flawless conviction once…
