UK

Strip away the influences of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century classical music and the early twentieth, and the roots of progressive rock reach back to the first half of the sixties, to what is now the United Kingdom.

With the farewell record »Night After Night«, bursting with astonishing live energy, UK showed one last time why they were the last relevant prog rock supergroup of the seventies, and made sure they went out unforgettably.

With "Danger Money," UK made another great record for their studio farewell. In songwriting, playing and sheer range, it falls only a little short of the unforgettable debut.

Soon after its release, "UK" earned, entirely deservedly, the title of prog rock masterpiece, and it still enjoys that status today.
