The Quill, Swedish hard rock veterans (with a hefty dose of stoner rock mixed in), will release a new studio album, “Master of the Skies”, on May 8, 2026. The album is coming out on Metalville Records (a subsidiary of Edel).
Below you’ll find the second single (and video) from the album, for the track You Can Not Kill My Soul. The Quill previously dropped the single Dark City.
“Master Of The Skies” is already available to pre-order.
Swedish hard rock veterans The Quill are back with “Master Of The Skies”. The album marks a new chapter in the band’s familiar dialogue, one that looks for a balance between groove, edge, punch and musicality, this time with a darker tone. It’s massive, atmospheric, and loses none of the originality of its heavy rock depth or its honed character.
The Quill once again recorded the new album with producer Erik Nilsson at Studio 491.
The tracklist for “Master of the Skies” looks like this:
1. Master of the Skies
2. Dark City
3. You Can Not Kill My Soul
4. It’s Over
5. Son of Light
6. If Tomorrow Never Comes
7. Now You Are Gone
8. Light Turns Low
9. Mastodon
10. Master of the Skies (reprise)
