Paul McCartney Announces “The Boys Of Dungeon Lane” Album, Drops “Days We Left Behind” as First Single
Paul McCartney, the legendary British singer-songwriter and former Beatle, will release a new studio album called “The Boys Of Dungeon Lane” on May 29, 2026. The album is coming out via MPL / Capitol.
Below you’ll find the single and the video for the album’s lead single, Days We Left Behind.
The album will be available in all formats, and you can already pre-order it.
“The Boys of Dungeon Lane” isn’t just Paul McCartney’s 18th solo album; it’s a collection of rare, candid glimpses into his memories, ones he’s never shared with anyone before. There are also a few fresh, uplifting love songs on the record.
On the new album, Paul turns inward. He goes back to the years that shaped not only his own life but the very foundations of modern pop culture. In a career defined by timeless storytelling and unforgettable characters, Paul now takes on the story of his own life. It’s his most introspective record yet, taking the listener back to where it all began. This time, Paul speaks openly about his childhood in postwar Liverpool, his parents’ resilience, and the early adventures he shared with George Harrison and John Lennon, long before the world had even heard of Beatlemania.
Just like his career, “The Boys of Dungeon Lane” is musically eclectic. Paul once again plays a whole range of instruments on the record. The singer-songwriter remains a master storyteller. You’ll find some rockier moments in the style of Wings, Beatles-style harmonies, and that classic McCartney groove. The intimate confessions are backed by a refined sense of musicality!
The album was produced by Andrew Watt (The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Ozzy Obourne).
