Cloven Hoof, the cult N.W.O.B.H.M. outfit, will release a new studio album, »Never A Prophet In Your Own Land«, on September 25, 2026. The record is coming out via High Roller Records. The band also promises the first single from the album very soon!
“Once again, Harry Concklin’s vocals are a chapter all their own,” Lee Payne laughs, and goes on: »All the praise goes to Harry. We’re really lucky to have such a brilliant singer and frontman in the band.”
“»Never A Prophet In Your Own Land« isn’t really a direct follow-up to »Heathen Cross«,” Payne continues. “»Heathen Cross« is full of dark, heavy atmosphere. »Never A Prophet In Your Own Land« leans more toward »A Sultan’s Ransom«, but that similarity wasn’t intentional or planned. It just turned out that way.«
“»Never A Prophet In Your Own Land« is a very varied album, with mid-tempo tracks, faster numbers, epic compositions and classic heavy metal haymakers – it’s a top-notch mix of everything,” Payne sums up his enthusiasm for the new record.
