Duran Duran, one of the most influential and innovative British bands of all time, will be featured for the first time on a new series of Royal Mail stamps.
Paying tribute to a band whose music, style and artistic vision have left a lasting mark on pop culture, the main stamp series features eight iconic album covers picked from Duran Duran’s incredible career. Together they highlight the band’s bold visual identity and constant artistic evolution – the very things that cemented their status as one of the most recognizable musical forces on the planet. The release coincides with the 45th anniversary of the band’s debut album, “Duran Duran”, as well as their breakthrough single Planet Earth.
Royal Mail worked closely with Duran Duran on this one. From picking the album covers and artwork to the overall design of the collection, it brings together in one place the creativity, style and innovation that have always defined Duran Duran’s career.
The albums featured in the set of eight stamps:

– Seven and the Ragged Tiger
– Notorious
– Duran Duran (The Wedding Album)
– Astronaut
– Paper Gods
– Future Past
But that’s not all. There’s also a set of four stamps released to celebrate Duran Duran’s live shows. The designs draw on tour posters from across the band’s whole career, with each stamp working as a standalone poster and also as part of a wider visual timeline of the band.
