Embrace Of Souls, Italian symphonic power metallers, will release a new studio album titled “The Battle Of The Dead” on May 22, 2026, via Rockshots Records.
The title-track single and video are available below. It follows the earlier single Desolate Lands. The video was directed by Maurizio Del Piccolo.
The new single springs from the fantasy concept behind “The Battle Of The Dead”, a story set in a world laid waste by a mysterious plague that turns souls and leads to a final showdown between the living and the dead. The album explores themes of power, betrayal, sacrifice, and hope.
Mixing and mastering were handled by Alessio Garavello at Rogue Studio in London.
Embrace Of Souls was founded by Michele Olmi. Originally conceived as a studio project, it eventually grew into a proper band, bringing together top-notch musicians from the Italian metal scene. The album also features Morby (Domine) as a special guest, lending his vocals to the track The War.
