Six Feet Under, the Florida death metal pioneers, put out their fifteenth studio album on April 24 via Metal Blade Records. The record is called “Next To Die”.
Below you’ll find the new album single and video for the track Mister Blood And Guts. It follows the earlier singles Mutilated Corpse In The Woods and Unmistakable Smell Of Death.
Six Feet Under are also hitting European stages this summer. They’ll bring their new studio album “Next To Die” to Slovenian fans too, on 14. 6. 2026 at Orto Bar in Ljubljana. Embryonic Autopsy are the special guests on the tour. More info is available HERE.
The band started out as a side project of Chris Owen during his final years with Cannibal Corpse, and dropped their debut “Haunted” in 1995. Since 2017, Six Feet Under have been running with a lineup that pairs vocalist Chris Barnes with rhythm guitarist Jack Owen. With the two of them at the helm, the band released “Nightmares Of The Decomposed” in 2020, followed by “Killing For Revenge” in 2024.
The new album “Next To Die” was also produced by Owen and Barnes, while Mark Lewis handled the mix and mastering at MRL Studios (Nashville, Tennessee).
Besides Barnes and Owen, the current lineup features guitarist Ray Suhy, bassist Jeff Hughell and drummer Marco Pitruzzella.
