Samorastnik present their second single, “Domov me več ne bo”.
The lineup, made up of seasoned Slovenian musicians Rok Tomšič on guitar, Jan Leščanec on vocals, Tilen Hudrap on bass, Klemen Markelj on drums and Matic Leščanec on keyboards, has served us up a new socially critical lyric video this time around.
The song, written by bandleader Rok Tomšič, shines a light on the war raging close to home and elsewhere in the world, seen mainly through the eyes of the younger generation, some of whom are already being forced into the army to fight under the pretext of patriotism, even though they know it’s really just about grabbing capital and political power for the elites.
The new single is already available on digital platforms.
