Ignescent, the Chicago rock outfit founded by vocalist Jennifer Benson, are back with a new single and video for Chariot Of Fire, featuring Sevendust vocalist Clint Lowery as a special guest.
The band’s latest single will appear on their upcoming studio album “Eternal”, due out March 20, 2026 on the Italian label Frontiers Music Srl.
“Eternal” is already available to pre-order.
Ignescent are: Jennifer Benson (vocals), Andre Leon (guitar), Mikey Green (bass), and Kohl Coryell (drums).
The band’s debut album “Electrified” was produced by four-time Dove Award winner and Grammy-nominated producer Travis Wyrick (10 Years, P.O.D.). The first record was cut at Lakeside Studio in Knoxville (Tennessee). Its lead single Calling Out to You came together with former Skillet guitarist Ben Kasica and cracked the top 30 of Billboard’s Rock Charts. Ignescent’s second record was produced by Eric LaBrosse at Cherry Pit Studio. The single You Got Me got plenty of airplay and was spun on numerous radio stations, including 95 WIIL Rock.
Ignescent have racked up serious stage mileage alongside the likes of Stryper, Flyleaf, Eve 6, Megadeth, Saliva, Lacey Sturm, Otep, Another Lost Year, Art of Dying, Letters From The Fire, and Like a Storm, and they’ve also played festivals sharing the bill with Switchfoot, Colton Dixon, Memphis May Fire, The Devil Wears Prada, Veridia, Building 429, Chris Tomlin, and TobyMac. Ignescent also hit the stage at the world-famous Rock Fest in Cadott (Wisconsin), alongside Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Anthrax, Lita Ford, Slayer, and Sevendust.
