Joel Hoekstra’s 13 Celebrate the Release of “From The Fade” with the Single “All I’d Do”
Joel Hoekstra’s 13, the project fronted by guitar virtuoso Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), has marked the release of the new album “From The Fade” with a fourth single and a visualizer for the track All I’d Do. You can check out the fourth album single below.
The album “From The Fade” is out today, Friday, February 27, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl., and you can already order it.
Hoekstra announced the new album a while back with the single The Fall, followed by the single You Can Give as last year was winding down, and then Lifeline dropped toward the end of January this year (all below).
As we’ve come to expect from previous Joel Hoekstra’s 13 albums, the guitar maestro is once again backed on his new record by a whole squad of top-notch musicians: bassist Tony Franklin (Blue Murder, The Firm), keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Sons Of Apollo, Black Country Communion) and drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, DIO, Last In Line), while the vocals for the entire album come from Girish Pradhan, frontman of the Indian hard rock band Girish And The Chronicles. Jeff Scott Soto contributed backing vocals.
The album was produced by Joel Hoekstra, with the final mix and mastering handled by Chris Collier.
Joel Hoekstra is a New Yorker who currently plays guitar with Trans Siberian Orchestra, and he was also considered a permanent member of the latest Whitesnake lineup, before David Coverdale announced the band’s retirement this past November. Hoekstra is also a member of Revolution Saints, which also features Deen Castronovo (Journey) and Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, The End Machine, ex-Dokken), as well as of Iconic, where he plays alongside Michael Sweet (Stryper), Nathan James (Inglorious), Marco Mendoza (ex-Journey, The Dead Daisies) and Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake, ex-Ozzy Osbourne). On top of that, Joel is known for working with Cher and Night Ranger, for the Broadway show Rock of Ages, and for occasionally lending a hand to the legendary Foreigner; he also records for the VHF project and takes part in Brandon Gibbs’ acoustic live shows. He’s also a regular columnist for Guitar World Magazine. In recent years, Joel has released three widely praised albums with his side project Joel Hoekstra’s 13: “Dying to Live”, “Running Games” and “Crash Of Life”. Over his career he has also put out three instrumental solo studio albums.
