If you thought you were done with MUSICK, think again!
LAIBACH will release MUSICK : ENCORE in November, a follow-up to their current album MUSICK, which The New World called “the most subversive album of the year.”
MUSICK : ENCORE brings five new tracks recorded during the MUSICK sessions, and four of them are already part of the live set on the current MUSICK tour.
The release also includes remixes of tracks from the MUSICK album – three on the vinyl edition, made by SILVERWINGKILLER, Richard X and PUNCHBAG, plus four extra remixes on the CD.
On the new tracks you’ll hear homegrown guest vocalists: Bojan Cvjetićanin and Marina Martensson on FAITH NO MORE, Manca Trampuš on MODERN TALKING, Kaja Skrbinšek on THIS IS THE END and Marina Martensson on #US. The remixes also feature Gregor Strasbergar, Senidah and Wiyaala.
The first two tracks kick off the upcoming release: the new “This Is The End” and a remix of “Love Machine” by PUNCHBAG.
A brand-new video for “Love Machine” also dropped today.
Shot in an industrial setting and in the forests of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, the video puts the LAIBACH frontman front and center alongside guest vocalist Senidah, one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary Balkan music.
The video was directed by KUKLA, a multi-award-winning Slovenian filmmaker and musician known for a bold, visually daring approach in both film and music videos.
