| Punk legend Peter Lovšin (a.k.a. Pero Lovšin) celebrated his 70th birthday last year and put out the album Za sto let naprej through NIKA. Today he’s sending the Radio Edit version of a track from that record out to the airwaves – Vedno več ljudi. (you can give it a listen below) |
| Lovšin is celebrating this year too, because his biography just dropped, titled Na poti s Perotom Lovšinom. |
Yesterday Lovšin sat down at the SEM café with the book’s author, Dušan Čater, and the two of them dug up stories and memories from the early days of Slovenian punk. The conversation with the punk legend and his biographer was hosted by Sonja Javornik.
ABOUT THE BIOGRAPHY
A hard-hitting, photo-packed biography of Slovenia’s first punk
Na Poti s Perotom Lovšinom is a biography and a road novel rolled into one. Čater follows Lovšin from one spring to the next – at gigs, at a lecture, in the studio recording a new album, and at parties all across Slovenia. In a lively, no-frills style, he chronicles his time hanging out with the frontman of the legendary Pankrti and a musician with a successful solo career spanning more than thirty years.
