Signum Regis, the Slovak melodic power metal crew who also soak up plenty of symphonic and progressive elements, formed back in 2007 and are now announcing their new, eighth studio album overall, “Beyond Spacetime”, set to drop on 10/9/2026 via Fireflash Records.
“Beyond Spacetime” features a whole lineup of different vocalists. Naturally, there are the band’s own singers, current frontman Mayo Petranin and his predecessor Jota Fortinho, plus a garrison of well-known names from the metal world: Ripper Owens (ex-Judas Priest), Matt Smith (Theocracy), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear), Johnny Gioeli (Hardline, Axel Rudi Pell), Tasos Lazaris (Steel Arctus, White Wizzard) and David Åkesson (Symphonity, Quantice). It’s also worth adding that the first single, Throne Of Gold, features a guitar solo from the excellent Belarusian guitar virtuoso Victor Smolski (Almanac, ex-Rage).
