With »War Dance« Colosseum II hit their artistic peak, crafting eclectic jazz fusion on 'turbo drive', but even though it was their most mature effort, they once again failed to land the commercial response they were after.

Going instrumental on "Electric Savage" was a hugely welcome call, because the virtuoso talents of the individual players, especially the two main 'stars', get a bit more room to shine than they did on the predecessor "Strange New Flesh".
