Axel Rudi Pell, Germany's wizard of epic, bombastic classic metal and hard rock songwriting, is back with his seventeenth studio album, »Game Of Sins«, and as always, it's a textbook Axel record.

The eleventh Rock of Ages festival served up a varied lineup on day one. Four acts, Graham Bonnet, Saga, Axel Rudi Pell and, as a spectacular crowning finish to the day, In Extremo, all did their jobs brilliantly. UFO cancelled their show!

The first day of the 19th Bang Your Head!!! festival was all about celebrating the first 25 years of music-making by famous German guitar hero Axel Rudi Pell, who often gets tagged as the German Blackmore.

Axel Rudi Pell fans will add this album to their collection too. Everyone else who doesn't know the guy will be thrilled with it, right up until they realize the previous fifteen sound pretty much the same.

With yet another fantastic show, Alice Cooper lived up to his billing as headliner of the likeable German Rock of Ages festival, putting the cherry on top of a full day of varied action on the main stage.
