The Quill, Swedish hard rock veterans (with a hefty dose of stoner rock), will release a new studio album, “Master of the Skies”, on May 8, 2026. The album is coming out on Metalville Records (a sister label of Edel).
Below you can check out the first single from the album (and its video), the track Dark City.
“Master Of The Skies” is already available for pre-order.
Swedish hard rock veterans The Quill are back with “Master Of The Skies”. The album marks a new chapter in the band’s familiar balancing act between groove, edge, punch and musicality, this time with a darker tone. It’s massive, atmospheric, and loses none of the originality and heavy rock depth of a well-honed character.
The Quill once again recorded the new album with producer Erik Nilsson at Studio 491.
The tracklist for “Master of the Skies” looks like this:
1. Master of the Skies
2. Dark City
3. You Can Not Kill My Soul
4. It’s Over
5. Son of Light
6. If Tomorrow Never Comes
7. Now You Are Gone
8. Light Turns Low
9. Mastodon
10. Master of the Skies (reprise)
