Twisted Sister Cancel Every Date of the Tour Celebrating Their 50th Anniversary!
Twisted Sister, the American glam metal icons, have called off every show on the world tour they planned to mark 50 years together. The first gig was supposed to go down on April 25, 2026, in São Paulo, Brazil.
The reason is health problems that caught the band off guard when Dee Snider announced he’s dealing with a whole pile of medical issues and doesn’t want to be a shadow of his former self on the upcoming shows. Among other things, Dee is reportedly suffering from osteoarthritis.
We’ll learn more about the band’s future in the coming weeks.
The band’s management, led by guitarist Jay Jay French, has released an official statement, which you can check out below.
