Dispyria, the grand-scale project driven by the musical vision of lead composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jürgen Walzer, has dropped the single and video The Revelation, featuring Savatage vocalist Zak Stevens on lead vocals.
The single comes from the just-released studio album “Redemption pt. 1 – Twisted World”, out February 20, 2026 on El Puerto Records.
The seventh studio album is once again a polished metal opera and a fresh chapter in the project’s conceptual saga.
Jürgen Walzer, founder and former lead guitarist of the power metal band Superior, started writing the story of its hero, Joshua Devon, back in 2012. The story, which winds its way across albums, covers the history of the Devon family and Josh’s fight against a sinister demon called Aelyrea.
So this is a story that unfolds across multiple albums. It comes with visually stunning videos, and a lineup of well-known singers like Zak Stevens (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear) and Carsten “Lizard” Schulz (Lazarus Dream) leaves a mark on this exceptional project.
