Subway, the legendary AOR and melodic rockers formed in 1986 in Balingen, Germany, have put out a new studio album, “Turn Back The Time”.

The album dropped on February 20, 2026 via Lucky Bob Records, and the band marked the release with a title-track single and video, which you can check out below!

The Swiss-German quintet ended a break of more than ten years in 2022 and came back to life! With a lineup of Peach Stöckli (vocals), Bemy Bitzer (guitar), Tommy Strobel (drums), Martin Arnold (bass) and Robin Stöckli (keyboards), Subway headed into the studio in 2024 and started work on the new album.

Subway were most active in the nineties, when they cranked out a string of melodic rock albums: “Dangerous Games” (1990), “Hold On to Your Dreams” (1992), which did especially well in German-speaking countries and also set off a wave of interest in Japan, where its follow-up “Light of the Night” (1993) came out, home to the hit single Hear You Cry. After a successful tour with fellow Germans Axxis, “Taste The Difference” followed in late 1994. In 1998 came the album “Subway”. Two years later it was released on the Japanese market again, but under the name “Don’t Look Back” and with a different track order. After touring with Asia in 2003, the band played one last show on home soil, then showed no signs of life until 2009. In 2010 came the album “Lola’s Themes” with singer Francis Soto, followed by a joint German tour with Michael Bormann and then another stretch of silence.

The new album was produced by Peach Stöckli and Dennis Ward.

The tracklist for “Turn Back The Time” looks like this:
1. Breaking These Chains
2. When It’s Gone
3. In The Shadows
4. Bitter Sweet Melody
5. Turn Back The Time
6. Unbreakable
7. I Won’t Change
8. They Taught Me Love
9. Calling For You
10. Hear You Cry
