Blue Ambition, a new melodic rock and AOR project driven by French multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Frédéric Slama, have dropped a new video and single for the title track of their upcoming album “The Scarlet Touch”. Check it out below.
The album “The Scarlet Touch” came out on March 20, 2026 via Perris Records.
The ten-track record was written entirely by Frederic Slama, who also penned the lyrics.
But that’s not all. On the same day, Perris Records also released another Blue Ambition album, The Missing Tracks. It collects six songs that, in Slama’s opinion, didn’t fit the nature of either the first or the second (upcoming) Burning Ambition album.
Since 2000, Frédéric Slama has put out 23 AOR albums, and he’s also got his name on a bunch of other productions with some of the biggest names in melodic rock. Two years ago, Frédéric started Blue Ambition, a trio of killer musicians. Alongside Frédéric Slama, the lineup features vocalist Robbie LaBlanc (Blanc Faces, Fury, Find Me, Vitalines) and Tommy Denander (Alice Cooper, Steve Walsh, Paul Stanley), who’s regarded as a top-notch producer and multi-instrumentalist. Last year the trio released their debut, »Seduction Of The Innocent«.
