Corrosion Of Conformity, the legendary American metal outfit, dropped their long-awaited new double album “Good God / Baad Man” on April 3 via Nuclear Blast Records.

It’s the band’s first album since its predecessor, “No Cross No Crown”, came out eight years ago.

To celebrate the release, the band has put out yet another new single, this time for the track Asleep On The Killing Floor. The single comes with a video too. Check it out below.

Among metalheads, the first four Corrosion Of Conformity albums are now considered cult achievements: that includes the underground classics “Eye For An Eye” (1984) and “Animosity” (1985), and of course “Blind” (1991) and “Deliverance” (1994). A quarter of a century later, when the band released “No Cross No Crown”, Corrosion Of Conformity had grown into bona fide legends of their time, revered by generations of punks, metalheads and rock fans alike!

In January 2020, tragedy struck the band when Reed Mullin passed away. Not long after, Mike Dean decided to leave the band as well. That left just Pepper Keenan (vocals, guitar) and Woody Weatherman (guitar). They holed up in Keenan’s place in Mississippi and listened: Discharge, ZZ Top, Motörhead, Neil Young and Black Sabbath. You know. The good stuff. And new material started pouring out. Lots of new material.

The gaps in the lineup for the new album were filled by drummer Stanton Moore, who played on the Corrosion Of Conformity album “In The Arms Of God” (2005), and bassist Bobby ‘Rock’ Landgraf, who once worked with Pepper in the New Orleans heavyweights Down and played in his own band Honky.

“Good God / Baad Man” was produced by Warren Riker (Fugees, Down, Cathedral). It was recorded at several studios: Blak Shak (Riffissippi), Dockside (Maurice, Louisiana) and the home studio of legendary Bee Gees man Barry Gibb in Miami (Florida). The album cover was done by Scott Guion.

Below you’ll also find the album’s other single You Or Me and the first single Gimme Some Moore.

“Good God / Baad Man” is available in all the major formats and you can already order it.
