The Black Keys Celebrate the Release of “Peaches!” with the Single and Video “Fireman Ring the Bell”

The Black Keys dropped their 14th studio album “Peaches!” on May 1, 2026, via Easy Eye Sound!

The duo marked the release with a single and video for Fireman Ring the Bell, which you can check out below.

Before that, the duo put out the album’s first single, a cover of You Got To Lose by Earl Hooker. George Thorogood and the Destroyers also covered the tune on their 1977 debut album. It was followed by the single Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire.

The album started taking shape after vocalist Dan Auerbach got the terrifying news that his father (who has since passed away) had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. That’s when drummer Patrick Carney suggested the singer spend some time in the studio and blow off some steam.

As a result, the whole album is super raw and sounds gloriously dirty. It grew out of studio jams and was recorded live-in-the-room style, though Carney adds that mixing it was a real nightmare.

You can already get “Peaches!” now.
