Teramaze, the Australian progressive metal standouts from Melbourne, will release a new studio album, “The Silent Architect”, on May 8, 2026 through their own label, Wells Music.
The fourth single from the album, Enemy In The Garden, is available below, complete with an official music video. The video was directed by Wayne Joyner. Before it, the band released the singles Arrow, Mr Crazy and The Invisible Countdown.

“The SIlent Architect” was recorded at Wells Music studio, owned by the band’s frontman and guitarist Dean Wells. Wells also handled the mixing and mastering.
The band says the new single is the perfect blend of progressive metal elements you can hear in the expression of bands like Dream Theater, Haken and Periphery. In short: modern!
Dean Wells had this to say about the band’s latest achievement: “This is a sound I heard in my head many years ago. I think we’ve brought that sound to life masterfully on the new album and on the new single “The Invisible Countdown.””

It’s a raised middle finger to a culture that leans on artificial intelligence to produce fake art instead of fighting for the real thing. In a present moment that’s increasingly dependent on algorithms and artificial precision, we in Teramaze have created something that speaks with defiant organic feel.””
