Lucid Dreaming, the heavy metal project fronted by mastermind Till Oberboßel (otherwise the guitarist of metallers Elvenpath), will drop their fourth studio album, “Upon The Barricades,” on July 10, 2026 via El Puerto Records.
The album is a concept record, and it features a top-notch garrison of vocalists who have all left their mark on the metal world in one way or another: Blaze Bayley (ex-Iron Maiden), Zak Stevens (Savatage), Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear) and Harry Conklin (Jag Panzer).
“Upon the Barricades” was produced by Uwe Lulis (Accept, Grave Digger, Rebellion).
It’s a metal opera concept, but not in the vein of Avantasia. Till says his approach means fewer keyboards and more organic, razor-sharp guitars!
The first single, Confederation, is already available on digital platforms!
You can already pre-order “Upon The Barricades.”
