Teramaze, the Australian progressive metal heavyweights from Melbourne, released their new studio album “The Silent Architect” on May 8, 2026 via their own label, Wells Music.
To mark the release, they’ve unleashed not one but two new videos, for the singles Doors Of Yesterday and Dust & Bone.

“The SIlent Architect” was recorded at Wells Music studio, owned by the band’s frontman and guitarist Dean Wells, who also handled the mixing and mastering.
Here’s what Dean Wells has to say about the band’s latest achievement: “This is the sound I heard in my head many years ago. I think we’ve brought that sound to life masterfully on the new album and on the new single ‘The Invisible Countdown.'”
The band keeps a true artistic stance, and this is how they describe the new record: “‘The Silent Architect’ isn’t against technology – it’s against dependence. It’s a raised middle finger to a culture that leans on artificial intelligence to churn out fake art instead of fighting for the real thing. In a present that relies more and more on algorithms and artificial precision, we in Teramaze have made something that speaks with defiant organic energy.”
