Fresh off a successful European tour, singer, songwriter and composer A.A. Williams, known for her atmospheric, emotionally charged music, is back with a new single, Poison, which will appear on her upcoming studio album “Solstice”. The album is due out June 5 this year via RPM (pre-orders open April 22).
You can also catch A.A. Williams live if you head to the A Perfect Circle show, set for Zagreb’s Šalata on June 18, 2026 (Tickets HERE).
A.A. Williams has already released the singles Hold It Together, Just A Shadow and Wolves (all below), which will also appear on her new studio album.
After her debut self-titled EP, A.A. Williams went on to share stages around the world with Cult Of Luna, Exposions In The Sky, Russian Circles, Sleep Token and The Sisters Of Mercy. She has also played the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Hall at London’s Southbank Centre.
In 2020 came the album “Forever Blue”, followed two years later by “As The Moon Rests”. Both were met with rave reviews, and A.A. Williams found herself in the company of a wave of artists who deftly work epic and folk music into a heavy sound with progressive touches. Recording for the BBC at the legendary Maida Vale studio only boosted her standing further.
Later she recorded and released a joint single with Japanese post-rock icons Mono, titled Exit In Darkness. In 2021 she decided to re-record her first EP, this time with completely different arrangements and a string ensemble joining her.
