Just two days after their spectacular show at Boćarski dom in Zagreb (RL’s review of the gig is in the works), Florida alt-metal heavyweights Alter Bridge have announced that they’ve been forced to cancel the next date on their current European “What Lies Within” tour (Sevendust and Daughtry are along for the ride).
It’s the gig in Rome, Italy, where Alter Bridge, Sevendust and Daughtry were due to play on February 2, 2026!
The band made the call at the last minute.
The problem is production-related at its core, and the band’s management decided it wasn’t willing to put the safety of the bands, their crews, local workers or the audience at risk.
For the full rundown of the reasons behind the decision, check the official statements from both Alter Bridge and their manager Tim Tournier at the bottom of this news piece.
Mark Tremonti still pulled off his guitar clinic in Rome, which he runs on every date of the current tour for a handful of signed-up up-and-comers.
