Asia, British icons of progressive rock and AOR, are announcing a new studio album, »Indigo«, due out on November 6 via Frontiers Music Srl.
Below you’ll find the third single and official video from the band’s upcoming new album, for the track Arcadia. It follows the earlier singles Echo Of You and The Traveller (Into The Light).
More than four decades after they redefined the face of progressive rock for the eighties and joined the wave of melodic rock and AOR that signaled new trends in music, Asia are back in 2026 with the studio album »Indigo«, which ties together past, present and future with remarkable elegance and authenticity.
With Geoffrey Downes at the helm and an inspiring new lineup rounded out by drummer Virgil Donati, guitarist John Mitchell and bassist/vocalist Harry Whitley, Asia are stepping confidently into a new era while honoring the legacy that made them rock icons.
The album was recorded over the course of last year, produced by Geoff Downes, with John Mitchell handling the mix and mastering.
The record is also special for its guest musicians. Steve Howe laid down acoustic guitar on the track Chesapeake Bay, while Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) contributed drums to Tattoo Indigo (Part 3), which appears as a bonus track on the album.
