Blackwood, the hard rockers from Nashville, have released a new single and video for the song “Gone Wrong”, and you can check it out below.
It’s the title track of their freshly released new EP “Gone Wrong”, which also features the songs Before You Die and Lust.
Blackwood came together during that unforgettable ‘long break’ in 2020. They were founded by drummer and producer David Dicks, guitarist Keith White and bassist Steve Burgess (The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies), with singer and guitarist Chris O’Brien joining later.
What started out as a studio project grew into a proper band after the release of the EP »Inundated One« in 2022, and they hit the stages across the southeastern US!
In 2023, Blackwood won the »River Festivus Battle of the Bands« in Kentucky and opened for Diamond Rio in front of almost 3,000 fans. The release of their debut album »Release Me« followed. In 2025, guitarist Luke Alonso and bassist Derek DaPrano joined the band. They picked up four Josie Music Award nominations and took home the award for »Rock/Metal Vocals of the Year«.
