Blue Ambition, a new melodic rock and AOR project driven by visionary French multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Frédéric Slama, is dropping a new video and single for the track Don’t Change Horses In Midstream. You can check it out below.
The new single comes off the project’s upcoming studio album “The Scarlet Touch”, set for release on March 20, 2026 via Perris Records.
The ten-track album was composed entirely by Frederic Slama, who also wrote the poetry.
And that’s not all. On the same day, Perris Records will also put out another Blue Ambition album, titled The Missing Tracks. It collects six cuts that, in Slama’s judgment, didn’t fit the vibe of either the first or the second (upcoming) Burning Ambition album.
Since 2000, Frédéric Slama has released 23 albums of AOR music, and he’s put his name on plenty of other productions with the biggest names in melodic rock. Two years ago, Frédéric founded Blue Ambition, a trio of excellent musicians. Besides Frédéric Slama, the lineup features vocalist Robbie LaBlanc (Blanc Faces, Fury, Find Me, Vitalines) and Tommy Denander (Alice Cooper, Steve Walsh, Paul Stanley), who’s regarded as a top-notch producer and multi-instrumentalist. Last year the trio released their debut, “Seduction Of The Innocent”.
