The camp of cult Slovenian heavy metal trailblazers Pomaranča shared the sad news yesterday, June 2, 2025, that the band’s former singer Boris Krmac has passed away.
Krmac joined Pomaranča in 1995 and recorded their fourth studio album “Takoj se dava dol” with them, released that same year.
Boris was already active on the music scene in the mid-sixties, when he started playing with the band Sparrows. Over the course of his career he also worked with the coastal outfit Karamela, lending his vocals to the recording of their album “Najlepša so jutra” (1998), and in the period before joining Pomaranča he was also involved in reviving the hard rock outfit Night Jump.
Boris passed away in his 75th year. The cause of death is unknown.
