Bruce Soord, the British singer-songwriter and founder and driving force behind British prog-rock heavyweights The Pineapple Thief, will release his new solo studio album, “Ghosts In The Park”, on May 15, 2026.
The album took shape over the last two years, which Soord spent on stage with The Pineapple Thief. Soord wrote all the music for the new record himself, and he also plays most of the instruments and handles the vocals. Jon Sykes contributed bass guitar on the track Kept Me Thinking. The material on the album comes from recordings made while jamming in hotel rooms, plus studio rehearsals. The album was mastered by Steve Kitch!
“Ghosts In The Park” will be released via Kscope Records and will be available in all formats and plenty of variants! You can already pre-order it.
Below you’ll find the second single from the album, Meet Me On The Downs. It comes with an official music video too. Soord announced the album a while back with the single Pillars.
