At Metaldays 2017, we sat down with drummer Will Carroll to talk about Death Angel, who are heading back to Ljubljana on Sunday, plus thrash in general, his side projects like Hammers of Misfortune, and his past work with cult bands like Ulysses Siren. Will “The Beast” Carroll joined Death Angel in 2009, and last year he put out his third studio album with them, The Evil Divide. Over his career, Carroll has played with Vicious Rumors, Ulysses Siren, Serpent Crown, and even Machine Head for a short stretch, among others. These days, besides Death Angel, he lends his drumming talent to progressive metal outfit Hammers of Misfortune. We talked about all of that and more with Will at Metaldays 2017.
