CoreLeoni, the hard rock outfit led by the guitarist and frontman of Swiss hard rock icons Leo Leoni, will release their new studio album “Generection” on September 11, 2026 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
Below you can check out the album’s second single, Howling At The Moon, complete with a music video. The video was directed by Maurizio del Piccolo (Moviedel Italia Productions), who was also behind the camera for the earlier single Generation Rock.
Here’s what the band has to say about the new single:
“The roots of this song go deep into the early nineties, when Jgor Gianola and the late Steve Lee were working out ideas in the studio for Gotthard. Leo and CoreLeoni rediscovered the track while recording ‘Generection’ and gave it a fresh new recording. Gent Bushpepa delivers vocals in the style of rock’s greatest singers, while the band lays down a mid-tempo groove drenched in lush arrangements and fiery guitar solos. You won’t be able to resist singing along!”
All the music and lyrics on the album were written by D. Leoni and Leo Leoni.
The album was recorded at Yellowhouse studio (Cagiallo, Switzerland) and produced by Leo Leoni, with Charlie Bauerfeind handling the mix and Sascha “Busy” Bühren taking care of mastering.
