Crimson Glory, the Florida heavy metal legends who dropped the sensational news back in December 2023 that they were returning to the scene with a revamped lineup, are back with original members Ben Jackson on guitar, Jeff Lords on bass and Dana Burnell on drums, joined by newly recruited vocalist Travis Wills of Infidel Rising and guitarist Mark “Borgy” Borgmeyer of The Lost Boys. And on April 17, they’ll release a brand-new studio album, “Chasing The Hydra”!
Below you’ll find the fourth single from the upcoming album, the track Beyond The Unknown. Before this, Crimson Glory had already shared the title track, plus the singles Triskaideka and Angel In My Nightmare.
You can already pre-order “Chasing The Hydra”.
Crimson Glory, an American heavy metal institution, were formed in 1983 in Sarasota, Florida, USA. The classic lineup featured vocalist Midnight, guitarists Jon Drenning and Ben Jackson, bassist Jeff Lords and drummer Dana Burnell. With that lineup they hit international fame in the mid-80s and were considered pioneers of the American progressive metal movement, right alongside Queensrÿche, Dream Theater, Fates Warning and Watchtower. Three out of five members of the classic lineup remain unchanged today. With the acclaimed new vocalist Travis Wills on board, the band has toured heavily over the past year, and this year they’re heading back to European stages too.
