Curse Of Fate, the Norwegian progressive metal outfit, dropped their new studio album “Behind The Eclipse” on January 30, 2026. The band’s third full-length is out via ROAR, part of the German label Reigning Phoenix Music.
The album takes you on a hypnotic journey through dark sonic landscapes that soar through the realms of lofty musicianship. “Behind The Eclipse” marks a major milestone in the band’s career and is their most mature achievement to date.
Following the concept album “Mindweaver” (2020) – which critics ranked alongside timeless records like “Operation: Mindcrime” and “Scenes from a Memory” – and its excellent successor “Somnium” (2023), Course Of Fate deliver their most dynamic and razor-sharp material yet with the new album.
“Behind The Eclipse” is a diverse collection of songs in which light and darkness intertwine, both musically and lyrically. Although it’s not a concept album, every track is tied to that theme and brings the typical mix of musical depth, progressive technical polish and passion that is the band’s trademark!
