Dave Hill (Slade) Announces His First-Ever Solo Studio Album, “Dirty Foot Lane”
Sixty years after Slade first came together – and a month before his 80th birthday – longtime Slade guitarist Dave Hill is getting ready to drop his first solo studio album.
“Dirty Foot Lane” is due out in October, and people close to the legendary guitarist call it “a rich, autobiographical collection of songs reflecting a life full of music, creativity and personal discovery”.
The album was made together with bassist and vocalist John Berry of the current lineup of the legendary Slade. Berry joined the band in 2003 and has also worked with other cult glam rock outfits like Sweet and Les Gray’s Mud.
“Dirty Foot Lane” was produced by Django Holder, son of Slade’s founding vocalist Noddy Holder and owner of the Feel The Noize studio in West London.
“Dirty Foot Lane” tracklist:
1. Thanks for the Good Times
2. Back in the Air Again
3. Dust My Axe
4. She Had a Troubled Heart
5. Sweet and Tender
6. Fast Train
7. Only Fools and Horses
8. Play It to the Crowd
