Def Leppard will release the fourth installment in their series of album box sets through UMR on November 13, 2026. “Volume 4,” as the latest one is cleverly titled, includes the self-titled album from 2015, the 2022 album “Diamond Star Halos” and “Drastic Symphonies” (2023), plus a fourth disc of rarities handpicked by frontman Joe Elliott.
Joe Elliot (the band’s vocalist) can’t hide his excitement: “Finally! It’s here! Volume 4 brings together our remaining studio albums and some really interesting bonus material. Some of the extras aren’t that old, but a few of them were lost in the archives for more than 33 years. Right up until the start of this year. We’re incredibly stoked to finally show you this collection.”
The first of the rarities, which you can already check out below, is a cover of The Beatles classic Revolution, recorded for an unnamed ad campaign but never used. The original, recorded in 1968, was the first song by The Beatles ever licensed for use in a TV commercial, when Nike paid $500,000 in 1987 for the rights to use the track for one year.
Other tracks on the rarities disc include six songs recorded for iTunes in 2006 (later released as “The Lost Session” in 2018), three live tracks recorded at Abbey Road studio in 2008 (later available as a “Record Store Day” release in 2018), three studio tracks recorded for the 2011 album “Mirror Ball” – Live & More, versions of Rock Of Ages, Pour Some Sugar On Me and Hysteria recorded for Apple in 2012–2013, and a few more demos, radio edits and covers. The full tracklist is below.
Def Leppard: “Volume 4 – 2015–2023” comes as a 6-CD set and an 11-LP vinyl box! You can already pre-order it.
