Swedish progressive metallers Dimension Art are unveiling the single and official video for Masquerade, taken from their upcoming new studio album “Labyrinths of Life”. The album drops on March 27, 2026.
Guitarist and producer Marius Nilsen comments: “Masquerade was one of the first songs written for this album. It’s probably the most ‘power metal’ track on the record, but don’t despair: it still has parts in 7/4 and 5/8! In my humble opinion, it’s a great opener after 14 years of silence. And congrats to Frank for his drumming madness! We hope you like it as much as we do.”
The video for the new single was directed by Salman Khan.
The music was written by Marius Nilsen. Lyrics and melodies are by Marius Nilsen and Tom-Vidar Salangli. Arrangements were handled by Dimension Act. The album was produced by Marius Nilsen, mixed by Øyvind Lionheart Larsen and mastered by Markus Teske.
Line-up:
Tom-Vidar Salangli – vocals, backing vocals
Marius Nilsen – guitar, additional keyboards
Ketil Ronold – keyboards
Tommy Granli – bass
